Thanks for all the advice you gave me a week ago about what camera to get next. My digital has indeed met its maker… I’ve decided to not buy anything now and spend the bucks on film. Between Diana, Viv, and Fishie, there’s plenty of potential.
THIS particular image is COMPLETELY UNIQUE amongst my photostream! I have never posted an image like this–can you guess how it’s different?
This is the first image I’ve posted coming from a telephoto lens. I fixed the old Minolta 35mm SLR we had, and it happens to have a 200mm lens. This is an image of the wind chimes on our back porch intermingling with the "bird of paradise" plant during sunset. We have 75 wind chimes on the porch and they make a glorious sound all day.

Ruth Spaak, glass and mixed media artist, worked with
the members of LASS (Ladies Self Support) women’s
group, based at the Salvation Army. The group responded
enthusiastically to Ruth’s unusual collection of materials to
make mixed-media wall hangings and rag rugs. The
residency was supported by the British Ceramics Biennial
(BCB) and Ruth had access to ceramic materials and
resources from BCB and the former Spode factory site,
which informed the piece she has created for this
exhibition. Denise Moloney worked with Ruth, learning
new skills in delivering workshops in community settings.

Making Moves is a West Midlands craft development initiative

Most recently the Executive Producer for CBC’s Zed, Kevin’s television credits range from the arts to sport to educational programming. His featured work includes CBC Sports’ The Olympians, the International Emmy award-winning Street Cents, Bill Richardson’s Booked on Saturday Night and a Yorkton-nominated educational program for the Open Learning Agency. This season on Zed, Kevin led a team that produced three different shows, focusing on short-form documentaries, short film and Canada’s wildly successful musical scene. He is based in Vancouver.

The Kidderminster residency was at the Boars Head
Pub, which actively supports the local arts scene. Jim
Bond is a kinetic sculptor and used the residency to work
with two different groups; KAF Creatives, a group of
visual artists and the Phoenix women’s group. Jim
developed a range of activities to build their skills using
life drawing, clay modelling and plaster moulds. Michelle
Taylor also brought lots of useful knowledge of ceramics
and mould-making to the community sessions.

‘Tourette is Powerful!’ is an unscripted, direct
discussion with kids with TS that allows them
to tell their peers what this syndrome is all
about. From tics to teasing, the five children in
this video put a positive spin on their disorder
while being completely honest on how it
affects them. This video opens the door to
discussions on Tourette Syndrome and
bullying in a classroom setting or in small
groups with friends.

his name is Dome , a very famous Thai actor and singer, his father is German and his mom is Thai.
I shot him for my Thai friends(some of my thai friends are big fans of him). But well, it is not so good , I was not prepared for this kind of shooting on the day since I just went for my favorite noodle shop for a cup of tea with my Thai friend and I just had AFS50f1.4G, I had no flash , no 85f1.4G , no 70-200f2.8Vr2 with me.
He seemed a quite polite and nice well mannered guy.
