Extreme human emotions often create
extremely irrational behavior. For Jack, the
loss of his marriage, his child, and ultimately
his life as he knew it, has sent him into an
emotional tailspin from which he may never
return. His desperate sense of false hope
ultimately results, metaphorically, in his selffulfilling
prophecy, a delusional reunion with
his daughter.

Canadian artist who has had a major impact
on the world through his illustrations of
JRR Tolkien’s world. This is the story of a young
man who, with little encouragement, stays true
