YoungCuts Film Festival is an event showcasing the best independent films by undiscovered talents. The Festival features short films produced by emerging filmmakers and serves as a launch pad for filmmaker careers, providing exposure and recognition for some of the most exciting new talent from around the globe.
On August 26th, at the Bloor Cinema (Toronto), there will be four screening blocks (12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm) featuring 24 of the top 50 short films, including award winners.
Friday through Sunday August 20, the YoungCuts Film Festival showcased 50 independent, short films by trendsetting directors, their casts and crews in Montreal. The Festival has reached out to thousands of filmmakers to identify the best films from qualifying directors. The chosen films are unique, entertaining and otherwise unavailable to the viewing public.
