Moving House By Bakfiets
move

A few weeks ago I moved house by bakfiets…a real bakfiets, old skool Nijland, generously provided by Workcycles.
My buddies Gabemac & GabeB filmed and photographed along the way, from Oud-Zuid to the Red Light District, the hood I now call home.
The cargo? I think it weighed about 400 kg, minimum, 500 kg is more likely. The bakfiets didn’t mind. My legs couldn’t say the same after that 40 min ride. Oh well, a nice exercise.
Stay tuned to Amsterdamize, a video will follow shortly!
